This commitment is formally stated in the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/13-b-3669-netral-karbon-67fc6a398ab19-1-1.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"http:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/13-b-3669-netral-karbon-67fc6a398ab19-1-1.pdf\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Rector\u2019s Decree Number B\/3669\/UN37\/HK.02\/2024 on UNNES\u2019s Commitment to Achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2045<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>, which emphasizes collaboration and investment in clean energy initiatives to replace dependence on coal and oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically, <strong>Article 2 point (i)<\/strong> of the decree encourages partnerships and investments with renewable energy stakeholders. This policy is now being realized through UNNES\u2019s collaboration with <strong>Indonesia Power<\/strong>, a subsidiary of PLN (State Electricity Company), to develop large-scale <strong>solar energy infrastructure<\/strong> within the university campus. The regulation calls for the adoption of <strong>solar cell technology<\/strong> and energy-efficient systems across academic and administrative buildings.
