As part of its mission to promote sustainability beyond campus boundaries, UNNES\u2014through its Sub-Directorate of Conservation\u2014actively conducts national workshops on wise water use and management for junior and senior high school communities (SMP and SMA). This program is designed to build awareness and understanding of sustainable water governance among young people, teachers, and school administrators across Indonesia.
During these workshops, participants learn practical knowledge and simple techniques for efficient water use, rainwater harvesting, and school-based conservation practices that can be implemented in everyday life. By introducing the principles of sustainability at an early age, UNNES helps nurture environmentally responsible behaviors and strengthens community participation in water conservation efforts.
