Through its lecturers\u2019 community service initiatives, the university provides learning opportunities for local residents to understand, apply, and benefit from effective water conservation techniques.<br>One of the flagship programs is \u201cRainwater Harvesting for Water Conservation,\u201d implemented in Geyer, Grobogan Regency, located about 82 kilometers from UNNES. This program introduces simple and low-cost rainwater harvesting systems that enable households to collect and store rainwater for daily use, such as watering plants, cleaning, and other domestic needs.
