UNNES Community Service Team has introduced an innovative method of producing fresh water from rainwater through a simple electrolysis process. The activity was carried out on July 13, 2024, in Banjarsari Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency, involving 25 residents and five village officials at the local village hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training focused on building a practical electrolysis device that can process rainwater into clean and consumable water. This initiative aims to promote sustainable water management and empower communities to utilize rainwater effectively, especially in areas that experience clean water shortages during dry seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Head of Banjarsari Village, Mr. Haryanto, S.H., M.Hum, appreciated the program, stating that the training significantly benefited residents by enhancing their understanding and technical skills in rainwater utilization. One of the participants, Mr. Mundazir, expressed his excitement and gratitude, saying he was pleased to learn that rainwater could be processed into fresh water suitable for daily use\u2014something that was previously overlooked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
