This activity strategically targets SDGs 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by empowering the community through digital literacy to accelerate agriculture-based micro-enterprises.

The event, held at the studio’s Production House, featured three keynote speakers, including representatives from the Department of Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises, Industry, and Trade, signifying a synergistic collaboration between academics, local government, and the community. The workshop was designed to address classic farmer challenges: dependence on middlemen and limited market access. Through website management training, participants were encouraged to transform from conventional marketing models to the digital era. “This training has really helped us. Previously, we only sold raw produce to middlemen, but now we know how to market our products through a website to gain wider exposure,” said Mrs. Srianah, a member of the Gading Mayang Farmers’ Studio, enthusiastically. This statement was echoed by Mr. Aspari, another member of the studio, who described this program as a continuation of previous training.
To ensure business sustainability, the workshop focused not only on digital aspects. The material provided was comprehensive, including: Improving Production Quality by Imam Noviyanto Nugroho; Financial Literacy and Financial Management by Beny Novatama from the Cooperatives and SMEs Office; and Website Management and Digital Marketing by Mr. Hajar. This approach ensures that participants are not only able to sell online but also have a strong business foundation from upstream to downstream.
Mr. Teguh Hardi Raharjo, M.Pd., the Supervisor, emphasized that this program is a concrete manifestation of the synergy of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. “This is not just technology training, but digital literacy-based economic empowerment. We hope that the studio members will be able to continue this practice independently and sustainably,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Wafiq Rafi Ardani, Chair of the Student Organization (Ormawa) HMPPE FEB UNNES, expressed his commitment to ongoing mentoring. “We will continue to assist the Gading Mayang Farmers’ Studio to better prepare them to compete in the digital world, especially in website management and strengthening the branding of local products,” he said.
With the launch of the website, the Gading Mayang Farmers’ Studio now has a “digital home” to promote their coconut and palm products. This initiative not only opens up broader market opportunities but also lays a solid foundation for realizing an independent and competitive Branjang Village in the digital economy.

Branjang Village, September 21, 2024 – As a commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the PPK Ormawa Team of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNNES introduced a digital platform and integrated entrepreneurship training for the Gading Mayang Farmer Studio.
