The activity was guided by lecturers Dr. Rifa\u2019 Atunnisa, S.Hut., M.Sc., Putri Alifa Kholil, S.T., M.Ling., and Trida Ridho Fariz, M.Sc., with support from the UNNES Sub-Directorate of Conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the visit, students explored various sustainable agriculture practices such as hydroponics, organic waste processing with maggots for fish feed, composting, rare plant conservation, and the cultivation of fruits and ornamental plants. These practices offered practical insights into environmentally friendly farming and food resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program also introduced the concept of circular economy through integrated farming systems. The outcomes of this experiential learning were closely linked to multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SDG 2 (Zero Hunger): promoting sustainable food systems,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production): organic waste recycling,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SDG 13 (Climate Action): implementation of low-emission farming,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SDG 15 (Life on Land): conservation of rare plant species, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): collaboration with multiple stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this hands-on activity, students gained deeper understanding of sustainability and the challenges of global food systems.
