The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNNES again held congregational Friday prayers at the Al Iqtishodi Mosque on June 20, 2025, by presenting a rice and drink sharing program for the congregation present. This activity is an effort to improve worship and part of FEB’s commitment to supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 2, namely ending hunger and achieving better food security for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the context of SDG No. 2, food security is not only about quantitative food sufficiency but also about ensuring access to nutritious food, a healthy lifestyle, and increasing the sustainability of food resources. This Friday’s sharing program is expected to directly impact beneficiaries by meeting basic food needs and strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, this activity also raises awareness of the importance of sustainability in the food system and reduces waste. By involving donors and the surrounding community to participate in donating rice or drinks, FEB not only focuses on short-term assistance but also invites all parties to work together to maintain more inclusive and sustainable food security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this program, FEB hopes to create an environment that cares about and is responsive to the hunger problem and contributes to realizing a more prosperous society through the principles of the SDGs, which emphasize social, economic, and environmental welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
