The Faculty of Languages and Arts at Universitas Negeri Semarang (FBS UNNES) reaffirms its commitment to advancing innovation in academic writing and digital literacy through its support for a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) themed \u201cImplementation of an Artificial Intelligence-Based English Academic Writing Learning Model to Enhance Students\u2019 Self-Regulated Learning.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Grasia Hotel , Semarang, the event brought together lecturers and participants from various faculties within UNNES who share an interest in the development of AI-integrated learning models. The FGD featured two keynote speakers from the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) UNNES, Dr. Farid Ahmadi, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D., and Woro Apriliana Sari, S.Psi., M.Si.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although both speakers represented FIPP, the topic aligned closely with the vision and mission of FBS UNNES, particularly in enhancing the quality of English academic writing at the postgraduate level. The forum served as a collaborative platform to design and implement instructional models that leverage artificial intelligence while also promoting student autonomy, research productivity, and critical thinking skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The discussion, which took place from 08:00 to 13:00 WIB, yielded several key insights to support the digital transformation of higher education and the development of language instruction rooted in cutting-edge technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
