The Faculty of Languages and Arts at Universitas Negeri Semarang (FBS UNNES), through the Master\u2019s Program in English Education, held an academic workshop titled \u201cReview of the Curriculum and Development of an OBE-Based Curriculum for the Master\u2019s Program in English Education\u201d on Tuesday, June 25, at Room B11-103, FBS UNNES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was officially opened by the Dean of FBS UNNES, Prof. Dr. Tommi Yuniawan, M.Hum., along with the Coordinator of the English Master\u2019s Program, Dr. Sri Wahyuni, S.Pd., M.Pd. The workshop featured keynote speaker Prof. Emi Emilia, M.Ed., Ph.D., a national curriculum expert from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop aimed to review and align the Master\u2019s curriculum with the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach, ensuring its relevance to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and international academic standards. Key areas of discussion included the formulation of graduate learning outcomes, the structuring of course content, and the refinement of assessment strategies in accordance with OBE principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants consisted of lecturers, curriculum developers, and key stakeholders of the Master\u2019s Program in English Education. They engaged in active and collaborative discussions to evaluate and enhance the curriculum, making it more responsive to current academic and professional demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this initiative, the English Master\u2019s Program at FBS UNNES reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
