A group of Informatics and Computer Engineering Education (PTIK) students from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), in collaboration with IT Pedia, successfully developed Sidesa Candirejo, a web-based digital administration system for Candirejo Tourism Village, Borobudur, Magelang Regency. The system was officially implemented on Monday, June 2, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This initiative aims to address the limitations of the previously manual administrative procedures at the village office. Within a week, the team designed and integrated essential features such as automated document generation for invitations and visit letters, a registry for partners, visitor data recording, and summaries of incoming and outgoing correspondence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apriansyah Wibowo, one of the PTIK students involved in the project, emphasized that the program not only served as a platform for practical experience but also reflected the tangible impact UNNES students can bring to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe deeply appreciate the trust and cooperation extended to us. This collaboration is a testament to UNNES\u2019s role as an impactful institution. It is our hope that this innovation will inspire fellow students to actively contribute to societal development,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rifa, Secretary of the Candirejo Tourism Village Cooperative, expressed appreciation for the system’s practicality and efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSidesa Candirejo significantly simplifies our daily administrative tasks. We no longer need to manually type documents using Microsoft Word. With this system, we simply input the data, click submit, and the letter is generated instantly, saving both time and effort,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UNNES, Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T., expressed high appreciation for the students\u2019 creativity and initiative. He noted that such efforts demonstrate the faculty\u2019s commitment to contributing to regional advancement through innovation and community engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis achievement reflects our students\u2019 dedication and social responsibility. I hope it serves as an inspiration for others to continue innovating in ways that empower local communities,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The program also received direct guidance from Septian Eko Prasetyo, S.Pd., M.Eng., founder of IT Pedia and field supervisor lecturer at UNNES. The project was carried out by a team of seven students: Apriansyah Wibowo, Farid Akhwan, M. Nizar Arhamni, Dwi Pambudi Utomo, Arya Wahyu Wibowo, Alifian, and Fatkhur Rizal Dzabadi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Their collaborative work on Sidesa Candirejo serves as a compelling example of UNNES\u2019s ongoing commitment to advancing digital transformation in tourism villages through education and applied technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
