The Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) conducted a Socialization of Prevention and Handling of Violence (PPK) at Graha Cendekia, Building E2. The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T., followed by presentations from the UNNES PPK Task Force Team on Tuesday (5\/3) .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In accordance with the Rector\u2019s Decree No. T\/47\/UN37\/HK.02\/2025, the UNNES Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPKS) has been renamed as the UNNES Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPK). This change aligns with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 55 of 2024, which broadens the scope of violence prevention and management in higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The UNNES PPK Task Force remains committed to fostering a safe and secure campus environment, free from all forms of violence. In his remarks, Prof. Wirawan emphasized the importance of this socialization program in preventing any incidents of violence within the Faculty of Engineering. He also stressed that perpetrators, including faculty members, would face graduated sanctions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUnder no circumstances should anyone commit or attempt violence against colleagues, administrative staff, or students, as the consequences for the victims are severe,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This initiative supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
