As part of its commitment to environmental awareness and in alignment with the vision of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) as a conservation-oriented university, the Social Adventure Club (SAC) of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science (FISIP) conducted its 17th Mangrove Planting and Coastal Clean-Up activity under the theme “Planting Hope, Reaping Life”. The event took place at Mangkang Wetan Beach, Tugu District, Semarang City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Held on Sunday (5\/18), the event drew 75 enthusiastic participants comprising students, environmental communities, and the general public. The activity was carried out in collaboration with the Kelompok Tani Mangrove Lestari, a local community group dedicated to mangrove preservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The initiative aimed to raise public awareness on the importance of protecting coastal ecosystems while mitigating the adverse impacts of environmental change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this program, SAC FISIP UNNES seeks to make a tangible contribution to environmental conservation and to enhance the well-being of local communities.
