A total of 40 permanent employee candidates of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) are participating in the Pre-Service Training for Permanent Employees of Legal Entity State Universities (PTNBH). This program plays a critical role in shaping character and enhancing employee competencies prior to assuming full responsibilities within the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training was officially inaugurated by\u00a0UNNES Rector, Dr. S. Martono, M.Si, who emphasized its significance in preparing professional and integrity-driven personnel. Although the participants are not civil servants (PNS), the implementation of the training refers to the\u00a0Regulation of the Head of the National Institute of Public Administration (LAN) No. 21 of 2016\u00a0concerning Guidelines for Basic Training for Civil Servant Candidates. Adjustments are made to align with the characteristics of UNNES as a Legal Entity State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, the implementation of this program is grounded in the\u00a0UNNES Rector\u2019s Regulation No. 19 of 2017, which outlines the technical provisions for organizing pre-service training within the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of the 40 participants,\u00a013 are lecturers\u00a0from various faculties including FIPP, FBS, FISIP, FMIPA, FT, FIK, FEB, and FK. The remaining\u00a027 are educational staff (tendik)\u00a0from a range of administrative and support units such as FIPP, FBS, FMIPA, FIK, FEB, FH, FK, LPPM, DAKK, DPK, DSIH, DUSDM, and the University Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training is designed not only to enhance technical and administrative competencies but also to instill core values and professional ethics. A key session in the program focuses on\u00a0the development of ethical values, under the theme\u00a0“training develops clear ethical values”<\/em>, emphasizing the importance of diversity, honesty, respect, and fairness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This session encourages participants to understand that professionalism is not solely defined by technical proficiency but also by moral values that guide decision-making and interpersonal interactions within the workplace.
