Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) proudly welcomed 12 international students who have successfully secured scholarships under the Developing Countries Partnership Program (KNB) and the Darmasiswa Program on Wednesday (29\/9). The arrival of these international students marks UNNES’s commitment to supporting academic cooperation between countries and enriching the learning experience within the campus environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The KNB Scholarship Program, managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, has successfully attracted high-achieving students from various parts of the world. Six international students studying at UNNES through this program come from diverse countries, including Pakistan, Ghana, South Sudan, Thailand, and Papua New Guinea. They are pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. In their first year, they can engage in courses on the Indonesian language and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The KNB and Darmasiswa students will attend classes in the Indonesian language, such as traditional dance, batik making, and pencak silat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Dr. Zaenuri, S.E., M.Si, Akt., Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs at UNNES, warmly welcomed the international students. He hoped their experience at UNNES would be a valuable step in their academic and personal journeys and further strengthen international cooperation in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
