{"id":1285,"date":"2015-01-07T15:40:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-07T08:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/?p=1285"},"modified":"2024-11-04T15:43:22","modified_gmt":"2024-11-04T08:43:22","slug":"unnes-cultural-village-a-java-inspired-design-open-to-the-public","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/unnes-cultural-village-a-java-inspired-design-open-to-the-public\/","title":{"rendered":"UNNES Cultural Village: A Java-Inspired Design Open to the Public"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In addition to establishing an integrated laboratory, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), with funding from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), is developing a Cultural Village west of the Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cultural Village is designed to serve as a center for artistic activities involving students, faculty, and the general public. It boasts an international-standard performance stage, ensuring high-quality presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A large joglo-style pavilion measuring 20 x 20 meters within the cultural village complex will be constructed. This pavilion is intended to host performances such as wayang arts, dance, drama, and other cultural displays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Audiences will be able to enjoy performances while seated in tiered amphitheater-style seating surrounding the pavilion,&#8221; explained IDB Project Secretary Hendi Pratama, MA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the pavilion, the cultural village complex will be encircled by three other buildings arranged in a U-shape.<br>The right and left buildings are designed to accommodate works of visual art and crafts that have lacked a dedicated space until now.
