Six community service teams from the Faculty of Sports Science (FIK) at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) collaborated with the Dharma Wanita FIK to conduct community service activities for Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) housed at the Shelter of the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, February 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Dean of FIK, Prof. Dr. Tandiyo Rahayu, M.Pd, who led the community service team, stated that the theme of the service was the empowerment of female migrant workers (TKW) in the KBRI shelter, focusing on physical, mental, and social health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Tandiyo explained that the presenters included Dr. Heny Setyawati, M.Si, who delivered a session on “Relaxation Techniques for Stress Relief”; Dr. Arulita Ika Febriana, M.Kes, who provided a health education session on maternal and child health; and Dwi Gansar Santi Wijayanti, M.Pd, who conducted a fitness training workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The community service was a comprehensive event covering a wide range of topics. Lulu April Farida, M.Pd, presented on child-friendly internet use, Dr. Widya Hari Cahyani, M.Kes, addressed sexually transmitted diseases, and Mardiana, S.KM, M.Si, provided nutrition education on balanced meal planning.
