Embung is a water conservation structure in a pond that collects rainwater, runoff, or seepage. The embung water can be used during the dry season or water shortages. Located in the Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) area, this embung is a rainwater reservoir, flood prevention, and groundwater reserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Built-in 2010, the 900 m\u00b2 Embung FBS also serves as an educational site, providing a unique learning environment for students and the community. It&#8217;s a relaxing place frequently used by students and the surrounding community. In the middle of the embung, there is a comfortable gazebo for discussions or meetings, and the long benches around the embung are a favorite spot for visitors to rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to environmental benefits, UNNES conducts community sustainable water management education programs.
