Water spinach was chosen by the Integrated Conservation Development Service Unit of UNNES to be cultivated hydroponically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Head of the Integrated Conservation Development Service Unit of UNNES, Prof. Dr. Ir. Amin Retnoningsih MSi, during the first harvest delivery to UNNES Rector Prof. Fathur Rokhman MHum on Monday (25\/2), explained that water spinach was chosen because it is a versatile vegetable, easy to cultivate, favored by the community, and economically better than regular water spinach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This water spinach belongs to the Bangkok variety. It is 25 days old, planted on February 1st, and harvested on February 25th. Its height is approximately 25-30 cm. The first harvest yielded around 1000 net pots,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rector of UNNES, Prof. Fathur Rokhman, appreciates and supports the Integrated Conservation Development Service Unit of UNNES for their innovation in hydroponic water spinach cultivation.<br>&#8220;By planting water spinach in our garden, the harvest can be shared with colleagues.
