Bandung, October 9–12, 2025 – Another proud achievement has been made by students of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). Five FH UNNES students, namely Salma Amelia, Sahda Naura, Anindya Diva, Silvia Theresia Abigail, and Ivana Pesta Peraiah, won Gold Medals at the prestigious Bandung Choral Festival (IBCF) 2025 organized by the Bandung Choral Society.
This international choir competition was participated in by various teams from within and outside the country, making it a competitive and prestigious event. The success of the five FH UNNES students in winning gold medals shows that law students are not only excellent in the academic field, but also have talent and high dedication in the arts and culture.
The Dean of the UNNES Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Ali Masyhar Mursyid, S.H., M.H., expressed his appreciation for this achievement. “This pride reflects the spirit of FH Menggema, Lulusan Digdaya, and Hukum Berdaulat, where FH students are not only intellectually intelligent but also creative and contribute positively in various fields of life,” he said.
This achievement is in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes the importance of quality education that supports the development of students’ potential and creativity as a whole. Through this achievement, FH UNNES reaffirms its commitment to creating an inclusive, inspiring, and impactful educational environment.
The success of UNNES FH students in this international event is clear evidence that the spirit of “Campus with Integrity and Impact” continues to take root, making the UNNES Faculty of Law not only a center for the development of legal science, but also a place for the birth of a powerful and sovereign generation that brings the good name of the nation to the world stage.
