Semarang, FISIP UNNES – The Social and Political Sciences Training Group (FISIP) of Semarang State University (UNNES) held the 2025 Training Group Meeting (MUSGUS) on Monday (12/1) at the PKMU Hall of Semarang State University. The event was attended by 15 members of the Wijaya–Tunggawijaya Scout Troop and Scout Group, as well as FISIP UNNES leadership and scouting advisors.
The MUSGUS event was attended by the Deputy Dean of FISIP UNNES for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. scient.med. Fadly Husain, S.Sos., M.Si., representing the Dean of FISIP UNNES, Troop Leader Dr. Rafika Bayu Kusumandari, S.Pd., M.Pd., Troop Secretary Giri Harto Wiratomo, M.Hum., Advisor Putra Ruhadi, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Advisor Putri Antari Ayuning Arsi, S.Sos., M.Si.
In his speech, Advisor Putra Ruhadi, S.Pd., M.Pd. motivated all Scout members to remain consistent and never give up in maintaining the continuity of the organization. According to him, Scouting is a strategic forum for character building and leadership among students.
Furthermore, Scout Leader Dr. Rafika Bayu Kusumandari, S.Pd., M.Pd. emphasized the importance of strengthening the capacity of FISIP UNNES Scout members through the Basic Proficiency Course (KMD) as an effort to improve the quality of scouting human resources within the faculty.
In his closing remarks, Deputy Dean of FISIP UNNES Dr. scient.med. Fadly Husain, S.Sos., M.Si. expressed his appreciation for the performance of the Training Group over the past year, including their active involvement in national holiday activities. He also expressed hope that future Training Group activities could be held at the FISIP UNNES building, and emphasized that the faculty would facilitate the administrative process for borrowing the building as a form of support for student activities.
The Training Group Meeting aimed to deliver the accountability report of the 2025 Training Group Coordination Council, the resignation of the management, and the election of the Chair of the Coordination Council, Pradana, and the Custodian of Ambalan and Racana Wijaya–Tunggawijaya UNNES.
This activity is in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 4: Quality Education, particularly in strengthening character education, leadership, and student competency development through scouting activities within the FISIP UNNES environment.
