Shah Alam, November 5, 2025 – The Faculty of Law, Semarang State University (FH UNNES) conducted an institutional visit to the Faculty of Law, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Malaysia in order to strengthen international research networks and increase the academic capacity of lecturers and students. This strategic meeting was an important step for FH UNNES to expand academic cooperation at the global level.
This visit was in line with UNNES’ commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, as well as contributing to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through the expansion of cross-border collaboration. During the productive discussions, the two faculties discussed opportunities for joint research, international publications, student exchanges, and joint academic activities that are expected to have a direct impact on the development of legal science at both institutions.
As a faculty committed to integrity and clean governance in education, this activity also supports the strengthening of the FH UNNES integrity zone. The spirit of FH Menggema, which reflects the sustainability of performance and excellent reputation, is the main driver in efforts to expand international collaboration.
Through this collaboration, FH UNNES hopes to produce Digdaya Graduates—graduates who are competent, globally adaptive, and highly competitive in both academic and practical fields. These efforts to strengthen research and global networks are also a concrete implementation of the vision of Sovereign Law, namely the development of legal science that is deeply rooted in the values of justice, sustainability, and community empowerment.
This visit reaffirms the position of FH UNNES as an impactful campus that continues to build international collaboration in order to make a real contribution to the world of legal education, both in Indonesia and the regional area.
