UNNES Faculty of Law Independence Celebration 2025: A Moment of Togetherness and Sportsmanship

Semarang, August 15, 2025 — To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, the Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Semarang (FH UNNES), held the Independence Celebration in front of the FH UNNES Dean’s Building, starting at 07.00 AM until completion.

The event was enthusiastically attended by all elements of the academic community, including lecturers, administrative staff, cleaning service personnel, security officers, and students. The diverse participation reflected values of togetherness, sportsmanship, and mutual cooperation as a tangible manifestation of the independence spirit.

A variety of traditional and creative competitions enlivened the celebration, including Pecah Seribu, Snow White, Ngebor Mangg, Aqua Smash, Anti-Gravity, and Tentacle Journey. More than just entertainment filled with laughter and joy, these competitions served as a medium to strengthen bonds, enhance solidarity, and foster a spirit of healthy competition within the Faculty of Law community.

This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3 – Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4 – Quality Education, where healthy, inclusive, and collaborative non-academic activities contribute to character building and strengthen the quality of humanistic higher education.

Through the Independence Celebration, FH UNNES reaffirmed its identity as a faculty that resonates with the spirit of togetherness, produces resilient and adaptive graduates, and upholds sovereign law as a moral and intellectual foundation in building a golden Indonesia with integrity.
