The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Engineering (FT) UNNES held a talkshow and campaign on Mental Health and Anti-Sexual Violence on October 10, 2025, at the 3rd floor of the FT UNNES Dean’s Building. The event was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr.-Ing. Dhidik Prastiyanto, S.T., M.T.

The event was held to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and efforts to prevent sexual violence on campus in order to improve quality education (SDG 4).

The event was crucial, considering that mental health and sexual violence, if experienced by students, can impact the quality of their studies. In this regard, the BEM of the FT UNNES has taken a wise step to anticipate a decline in the quality of education for FT UNNES students by holding this event.

Dr.-Ing. Dhidik Prastiyanto, S.T., M.T. He admitted that he found the event very helpful, as many students experience mental stress and other issues but lack a space or friends to share their concerns.

He hopes that this event will allow students to express their concerns comfortably and without pressure, as the Faculty of Engineering Student Executive Board (BEM) of UNNES has provided a space for them to express their concerns.
