As part of the implementation of the collaboration between the Faculty of Sports Science of Universitas Negeri Semarang (FIK UNNES) and the Kabaddi Sports Federation of Indonesia (FOKSI) in Sidoarjo Regency, PJKR FIK UNNES lecturer Fery Darmanto, S.Pd., M.Pd., served as a speaker in the Socialization, Strengthening, and Basic Training for Kabaddi Coaches and Referees.
Held on 8 November 2025 at SMP Sepuluh November Sidoarjo, this activity provided an important platform for coaches and referees to deepen their technical understanding and foster professionalism in the world of Kabaddi. Fery Darmanto emphasized the crucial role of coaches and referees as the front-liners in upholding sportsmanship, integrity, and the quality of competitions.
In addition to delivering technical materials, Cak Fery also shared his experience in nurturing young athletes and strategies for developing Kabaddi so that it becomes more recognized and appreciated across various regions. His presence inspired participants to continue learning and contributing to the advancement of national sports.
This activity serves as evidence that collaboration between educational institutions and sports organizations, combined with a spirit of togetherness, is the key to achieving major accomplishments in Indonesian sports.
