With a strong dedication to advancing education, Dicky Budhi Setyawan, S.Pd., M.Pd., a lecturer from the Primary School Teacher Education (PJSD) Study Program, Faculty of Sports Science (FIK), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), actively contributed as an Accreditation Visitation Assessor for the National Accreditation Board for Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary Education (BAN-PDM) in the Province of DKI Jakarta. The visitations, conducted on October 16–17 and 20–21, 2025, represented his tangible commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality of national education.
The visitation process took place at Raffles Christian School Junior High (Kelapa Gading) and Gandhi School Junior High (North Jakarta). In his capacity as assessor, Dicky was responsible for verifying and validating various aspects of educational implementation, including learning plans, school management, and student achievement outcomes.
According to Dicky, “Accreditation is a shared effort to safeguard educational quality. We are present not merely to evaluate but also to ensure that the teaching and learning process aligns with national standards, while supporting schools in achieving their highest quality goals.”
Dicky’s participation in this activity also embodies the ongoing collaboration between UNNES and BAN-PDM, and serves as a form of academic service and professional dedication toward improving the quality of basic and secondary education in Indonesia.
Through this engagement, UNNES reaffirms its commitment as a higher education institution devoted to strengthening the national education system, ensuring that quality assurance becomes a continuous and collaborative process involving universities, government agencies, and schools.
Although primarily focused on educational quality improvement, this initiative also reflects a broader spirit of partnership and institutional synergy, fostering sustainable collaboration to advance Indonesia’s education system toward excellence and equity.
