The dedication of an educator does not stop in the lecture hall. This has been proven once again by Prof. Dr. Siti Baitul Mukarromah, S.Si., M.Si. Med., Lecturer at the Sports Science Study Program (IKOR), Faculty of Sports Science (FIK) UNNES, who took part as a member of the organizing committee for the Asia Pacific Walking Football Cup 2025 on November 12–17, 2025, at the Bali United Training Center, Bali.
As part of the implementation of the collaboration with the Central Board of Inorga Persejasi, Prof. Siti not only represented the institution but also strengthened the contribution of Indonesian academics in supporting the development of community sports in the Asia-Pacific region.
During the event, Prof. Siti was actively involved in technical coordination and field support to ensure that the matches ran smoothly, safely, and with good sportsmanship. Her role was an important part of the success of the event, which brought together various countries involved in walking football, a sport that promotes inclusivity and public health.
The 2025 Asia Pacific Walking Football Cup was a success, leaving behind a message that sports are not only about competition, but also about unity, health, and the spirit of humanity. These are values that continue to be upheld by educators such as Prof. Dr. Siti Baitul Mukarromah.
The involvement of Prof. Dr. Siti Baitul M, S.Si., M.Si.Med in international activities broadens her knowledge, best practices, and academic experience, while also demonstrating the contribution of educational institutions in the global arena in line with SDG 4 – Quality Education.
The implementation of cooperation between FIK UNNES and the Central Board of Inorga Persejasi demonstrates a tangible form of cross-institutional partnership to support sustainable development in the field of sports, which is in line with SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
