The Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), has established a strategic partnership with PT Pertamina Retail. This collaboration was realized through the signing of a cooperation agreement and the handover of two electric motorcycles as part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
This assistance is intended to support student research activities, particularly in the field of new and renewable energy, while also contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
The cooperation agreement covers three main points: research collaboration between UNNES Electrical Engineering lecturers and students, a student internship program at PT Pertamina Retail, and lecturer involvement in industry to bring practical insights into classroom learning. The entire series of activities was formulated through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) of the CSR ESA (Energy Sustainability Academy) PT Pertamina Retail, held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at COCO 41.502.02 Sultan Agung Semarang gas station, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. WIB.
The FGD was attended by the leadership of PT Pertamina Retail, the Coordinator of the Electrical Engineering Study Program at UNNES, Nur Iksan, S.T., M.Kom., Professor of New and Renewable Energy Prof. Dr. Djoko Adi Widodo, M.T., Professor of Intelligent Systems Prof. Dr. Ir.
