Semarang, May 3, 2025 — The Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), successfully organized the annual Medical Olympic (MedPic) 2025 with the theme “Unleash Your Passion, Ignite the Competition.” This event served as a platform for students to develop their potential while promoting a healthy, active, and well-balanced lifestyle within the campus community.
MedPic is a flagship program of the Talent and Interest Department of the UNNES Medical Student Association (HMK FK UNNES) that integrates elements of sports and arts as a means to channel students’ interests and foster both physical and mental well-being. Through this activity, students are encouraged to cultivate a positive competitive spirit and uphold the values of sportsmanship.
The event was officially opened by Dr. dr. Intan Zainafree, M.H.Kes., Coordinator of the UNNES Medical Study Program, accompanied by Maria Ulfa Nur Hidayanti, M.Keb., Advisor of HMK FK UNNES, and attended by lecturers and students. In her remarks, the faculty expressed appreciation for the activity as a concrete form of medical students’ contribution to realizing a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
MedPic 2025 featured seven competition categories: Badminton, Futsal, Mobile Legends, PES, Creative Dance, Solo Vocal, and Graphic Design. Sports competitions were held onsite at the campus, while art categories were conducted online. The event was lively and filled with enthusiasm from participants across various student cohorts.
Through the implementation of MedPic, the Faculty of Medicine UNNES reaffirms its commitment to fostering a healthy and competitive learning environment. This activity also reflects students’ contribution to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting good health and well-being within the community.
