As part of the implementation of the collaboration, Prof. Dr. Heny Setyawati, M.Si. led a team from the Faculty of Sports Science, UNNES, to visit the Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching, UPSI, Malaysia. This visit was part of the Visiting Research and Guest Lecture program.
The activities, which took place from November 20 to 23, 2025, included various academic activities. During this opportunity, Prof. Dr. Heny and her team exchanged knowledge and discussed research.

Additionally, the UNNES FIK team delivered a guest lecture attended by UPSI students. The topics covered included innovations in sports education, strategies for developing athletic talent, and current research in sports science. The guest lecture received a warm and enthusiastic response from participants, who actively participated in the question-and-answer session.

The Visiting Research and Guest Lecture activities became an important momentum to strengthen academic synergy and innovation in the field of sports science between UNNES and UPSI. The visit of Prof. Dr. Heny Setyawati and the UNNES FIK team to UPSI Malaysia is in line with several SDG objectives. First, this activity supports SDG 4; Quality Education through knowledge exchange, research discussions, and guest lectures that contribute to improving the quality of education and learning for students at both institutions. Additionally, discussions on sports education innovation and athlete talent development strategies reinforce SDG 9; Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, as they promote scientific practices and innovation in the field of sports. Furthermore, this visit also reflects SDG 17; Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening international cooperation and academic networks between UNNES and UPSI as a form of joint commitment to global education and research development.
