Collaborating with Irshadiah High School and engaging in cultural exchange with Tun Abdul Razak Vocational School, Ifa Hamda Yauma Istikomah was entrusted with teaching physical education and religion. With thorough preparation, from developing lesson plans and designing learning strategies to adapting teaching approaches to students’ English proficiency, Ifa delivered meaningful instruction.
Her participation not only honed her professional competence as a prospective educator, but also broadened her horizons and shaped her inspiring character, preparing her to compete in the international arena.
The LANTIP International Program undertaken by Ifa Hamda Yauma Istikomah is in line with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). First, this program supports SDG 4 – Quality Education, because through teaching activities abroad, pedagogical competency development, and cross-cultural learning, participants contribute to improving the quality of education and expanding access to quality learning experiences. Additionally, this activity also reflects SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, through the collaboration between UNNES, Irshadiah High School, and Tun Abdul Razak Vocational School as a form of international partnership that strengthens educational cooperation and cultural exchange. This program also contributes to SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities, as it provides opportunities for students to learn and teach in a global environment, thereby helping to reduce disparities in access to international experiences and fostering a better understanding of diversity.
