Semarang, January 6, 2026 — The Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Semarang State University held a Book Launch and Research Results Exhibition for 2025 on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, as part of the institution’s commitment to strengthening research culture, improving the quality of scientific publications, and expanding the impact of science in the fields of education and psychology. The event was officially opened by the Dean of FIPP UNNES, Edy Purwanto, M.Si., and was accompanied by the Vice Dean III of FIPP UNNES, Siti Nuzulia, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D. Muhammad Nazil Iqdami, M.Ed., moderated the discussion and book launch session.
This event marked the launch of two academic books, a collaborative effort between FIPP UNNES lecturers and researchers: “Educating Minds and Hearts: Well-being, Character, and Innovation for Inclusive Learning” and “The Future of Education in Indonesia: Innovative Approaches to Technology, Curriculum, and Pedagogy.” Both books reflect the strategic direction of FIPP UNNES research, emphasizing pedagogical innovation, character building, and well-being as the foundation for developing inclusive and sustainable education. In addition to the book launches, the event also included the 2025 Research Results Exhibition, showcasing various outstanding research outputs by FIPP UNNES lecturers, including scientific publications, innovative learning models, educational media, and the development of psychological and educational interventions relevant to contemporary educational challenges.
The event featured speakers representing the book chapter authors: Mulawarman, S.Pd., M.Pd., Ph.D.; Liftiah, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., psychologists; Bagas Kurnianto, M.Pd.; and Tri Hutami Wardoyo, S.Pd., M.Ed. These speakers represented expertise in education, psychology, and learning innovation. The speakers presented the main ideas, research findings, and academic reflections that underpinned the book chapter, while also discussing the implications of the research findings for policy development, educational practice, and psychological services in Indonesia. Through the 2025 Book Launch and Research Exhibition, FIPP UNNES affirmed its role as a center for research-based educational and psychological scientific development, aligned with national policies and the global development agenda, and responsive to the real needs of society, to support the realization of an advanced, inclusive, and sustainable Indonesian education system.
The implementation of this activity aligns with the National Research Master Plan (RIRN) in the cluster of human resource development, quality education, and strengthening the social sciences and humanities, while also supporting the downstreaming of educational and psychological research. This activity also contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). It supports the Asta Cita of national development through strengthening superior, character-based, and competitive human resources, as well as developing an ecosystem of research and educational innovation that has a real impact on society.
