The seminar was officially opened by the Rector of UNNES, who highlighted the importance of research and innovation in herbal medicine as an integral part of strengthening the national health system. The Rector also emphasized UNNES’s dedication to playing an active role in global efforts to achieve the SDGs through education, research, and community service.

FK UNNES hopes this seminar will become a collaborative platform between academia, government, industry, and society to optimize the utilization of herbal medicine. With this synergy, the outcomes are expected to benefit public health while advancing the achievement of SDGs targets, particularly in creating a healthy, independent, and globally competitive society.
