Enhancing Global Competitiveness, IUB UNNES is organizing a Startup Acceleration Bootcamp

The Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia, a key player in the field, has joined forces with the Business Incubator Unit (IUB) of UNNES to successfully organize the ‘The Improvement of Startup Capacity towards Sustainability Business’ Bootcamp at Hotel Guest Simpang Lima, Semarang (25/05). This program aims to accelerate the development of startups to make them more competitive globally.

The event, held in the context of enhancing the capacity of Indonesian startups for the year 2023, was attended by 27 selected tenants from various business sectors in Jawa Tengah Province, including tech startups, social enterprises, and traditional businesses.

Present in person were Eddy Sulistyo B, SE., MM (Head of the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs of Central Java Province), Prof. Dr. Sucihatiningsih DWP, M.Si. (Secretary of UNNES’s LPPM), and the entire IUB team from LPPM UNNES. Joining virtually, but no less present, was Ir. Siti Azizah, MBA (Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of Indonesia).

The Head of the Cooperative and SME Agency of Central Java welcomes the startup capacity enhancement program, especially in the province of Central Java.

“Many thanks to the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia, along with IUB LPPM. Together, we contribute to nurturing the potential of SMEs and startups, particularly in this abundant region of Central Java. May it continue and boost the local economy,” said Eddy.

This boot camp program will be held for 2 days from May 25-26, 2023. Participants will also receive knowledge, skills, and capacity-building efforts from competent experts in their respective fields.
