Semarang – To improve the quality and professionalism of diving refereeing at the national level, Hijrah Maulidiah Afifah, M.Pd., Lecturer of Primary School Physical Education (PJSD), Faculty of Sports Science (FIK), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), took part in the National Diving Referee Training Program Levels W1 and W2 in 2025. The six-day training was held from Tuesday to Sunday, 23–28 September 2025, across several locations, including Hotel Puri Garden, Graha Wiyata Patemon, the FIK UNNES Swimming Pool, and Awang Costa Beach, Semarang.
Organized by the Indonesian Underwater Sports Federation (POSSI) Central Java, the program aims to enhance the quality of officiating in diving sports nationwide. As one of the participants, Hijrah Maulidiah Afifah is committed to strengthening her technical skills and competence in the field of diving refereeing.
Through this training, Hijrah hopes to contribute more effectively to the development of diving sports both within academic settings and the broader sports community in Central Java and Indonesia as a whole.
This initiative also reflects FIK UNNES’s continuous effort to encourage lecturers and staff to actively participate in professional development programs that support the advancement of sports and physical education in Indonesia.
