Having successfully fulfilled his responsibilities as a judge for Men’s Artistic Gymnastics at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand, Agus Darmawan, S.Pd., M.Pd., demonstrated his professionalism and brought pride to the academic community of Semarang State University, particularly the Faculty of Sports Science.
“Serving as a judge at the SEA Games is a significant responsibility and a valuable opportunity. This experience provided many lessons, especially in maintaining integrity and objectivity in judging,” said Agus Darmawan.
By successfully completing his assignment as a judge at the 33rd SEA Games, Agus Darmawan demonstrated that dedication, professionalism, and hard work can open opportunities to participate at the international level. This success also serves as motivation for the UNNES academic community to continue innovating, gaining knowledge, and achieving success in various fields.
Agus Darmawan’s success as a judge at the 33rd SEA Games is in line with several SDGs, particularly SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-being, as his involvement in artistic gymnastics promotes a healthy lifestyle, sportsmanship, and the importance of integrity and safety in competition. SDG 4 on Quality Education through his international experience as an academic at the Faculty of Sports Science, UNNES, which can enhance academic capacity and professionalism and be shared with students and the academic community; SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth, reflected in her dedication and professionalism in carrying out her duties as a judge as a form of fair and quality work practices in the sports sector; and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals through her participation in international events that reflect cross-country collaboration, strengthen networks, and support knowledge exchange and the application of global standards in the field of sports.
