Dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan di kawasan perkotaan, SKK Migas, Saka Energi Muriah Limited (SEML), LPPM UNNES dan Pemkot Semarang berkolaborasi mengembangkan urban farming, dengan memanfaatkan bantaran Kali Tenggang di Kelurahan Tambakrejo, Kota Semarang. Salah satu rangkaian kolaborasi ini dilakukan dengan penyerahan tanaman serai secara simbolis oleh Hernowo Budi Luhur, Kepala Dinas Pertanian Kota Semarang kepada Sukiswo, Lurah Tambakrejo pada Jumat (03/03). Turut hadir pula perwakilan dari SKK Migas Perwakilan Jabanusa, SEML dan LPPM UNNES.

Kolaborasi antar pihak menjadi upaya konkrit dalam penyediaan sumber pangan alternatif di Kota Semarang. Melalui Program Pengembangan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (PPM) SEML bersama LPPM UNNES turut melakukan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk, pendampingan program serta memfasilitasi infrastruktur penunjang urban farming berupa kolam lele, penataan taman dan green house yang dikelola oleh Kelompok Tani Tambakrejo. Sedangkan Pemkot Semarang melalui PPL Dinas Pertanian memberikan fasilitasi bibit hingga pendampingan untuk pembibitan sayuran.

Dalam sambutannya, Erry Affandi, perwakilan Saka Energi Muriah Ltd menyampaikan apresiasi terhadap semua pihak yang telah berkontribusi dalam pengembangan urban farming di Taman Pancasila sekaligus menjelaskan bahwa melalui program PPM menjadi bentuk peran aktif perusahaan dalam membangun bangsa. “SEML selalu berkolaborasi dengan aktor-aktor lokal agar program yang dijalankan tidak tumpang tindih, namun saling mengisi dan melengkapi satu sama lain” tuturnya. Ia pun memastikan akan melanjutkan program pengembangan pertanian perkotaan di Kelurahan Tambakrejo.

Hal senada juga disampaikan oleh Dimas Pear, perwakilan SKK Migas Jabanusa mengenai kolaborasi yang dilakukan dapat terus memberi manfaat terhadap masyarakat atas hadirnya perusahaan dalam bentuk program PPM yang dijalankan selama ini. Menurutnya, kolaborasi dalam memanfaatkan lahan kosong di bantaran sungai menjadi lahan pertanian urban farming dapat membantu masyarakat menyediakan sumber pangan alternatif, meskipun dalam skala kecil. “Alih-alih menjadi bangunan kumuh, lahan bantaran kali dapat menjadi lahan sumber pangan sekaligus sarana silaturahmi masyarakat” jelasnya.

Kerja sama antar pihak menjadi kunci dalam pemenuhan sumber pangan alternatif bagi masyarakat Tambakrejo. Prof Nana Kariada, perwakilan LPPM Universitas Negeri Semarang menambahkan bahwa implementasi kolaborasi pentahelix yang dilakukan di Taman Pancasila, Kelurahan Tambakrejo dapat membantu meningkatkan keberhasilan program urban farming, “Semua pihak mengambil peran masing-masing, baik private sector, perguruan tinggi, pemerintah, masyarakat, dan media” pungkasnya.

Hernowo Budi Luhur, Kepala Dinas Pertanian Kota Semarang menyambut positif kolaborasi yang dilakukan mewujudkan ketahanan pangan masyarakat perkotaan yang secara langsung dapat membantu menekan angka inflasi di Kota Semarang. “Dengan adanya sumber-sumber pangan alternatif seperti ini, jadi tidak ada panic buying di masyarakat sehingga dapat menekan angka inflasi” tambahnya. Menurutnya, kolaborasi ini dapat mendukung serta mensukseskan program pemerintah dalam penyediaan pangan alternatif untuk menekan inflasi.

Sejak awal tahun 2023 Pemerintah Kota Semarang mengusung inovasi serta merilis program penyediaan pangan alternatif bagi masyarakat seperti Food Startup Challenge, Urban Farming Corner, Rumah Gizi Pelangi Nusantara, dan Sekolah Berkebun. Program yang telah dicanangkan melalui RKP 2023 ini diikuti berbagai instansi pemerintahan hingga sekolah negeri di Seluruh Kota Semarang.
