The activity was also conducted in collaboration with the Mangrove Lestari Farmers Group, which provided the mangrove seedlings and technical assistance throughout the planting process. This collaboration reflects the synergy between industry, academia, and local communities in supporting coastal ecosystem rehabilitation and climate change mitigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"331\" src=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/mipa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2026\/06\/pama1-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20287\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/mipa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2026\/06\/pama1-2.png 624w, https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/mipa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2026\/06\/pama1-2-300x159.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mangrove planting activity was part of the PAMA Group Media Gathering 2026, which carried the spirit of collaboration for sustainability. In addition to strengthening relationships with journalists from various national and local media outlets, the event also served as a tangible effort to rehabilitate coastal ecosystems that play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance, reducing coastal erosion, and enhancing <em>blue carbon<\/em> sequestration capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was attended by Abdul Nasir Maksum, Director of PT Pamapersada Nusantara, accompanied by TH. Puguh Susatyo, SRGS Division Head of PT Pamapersada Nusantara, along with management representatives from companies under the PAMA Group. Their presence demonstrated the company&#8217;s commitment to supporting environmental conservation programs through collaboration with universities and local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"317\" src=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/mipa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2026\/06\/pama2-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20288\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/mipa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2026\/06\/pama2-1.png 624w, https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/mipa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2026\/06\/pama2-1-300x152.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representing FMIPA UNNES were the Dean, Prof. Dr. Edy Cahyono, M.Si.; the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Zaenal Abidin, Ph.D.; the Vice Dean for Planning and Resources, Dr. Isnarto, M.Si.; and the Vice Dean for Business, Research, and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Sutikno, M.T. Also in attendance was Prof. Dr. Nana Kariada Tri Martuti, M.Si., Head of the UNNES Conservation Subdirectorate and a lecturer at FMIPA, who has long been actively involved in coastal conservation and mangrove ecosystem rehabilitation initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event also involved members of the FMIPA UNNES academic community from various study programs. Participants included the Head of the Undergraduate Environmental Science Study Program, Dr. Andhina Putri Heriyanti; the Head of the Undergraduate Science Education Study Program, Dr. Fidia Fibriana, Ph.D.; and lecturers from the Undergraduate Environmental Science Study Program, namely Abdul Jabbar, M.Ling., the faculty advisor of ILING Project, Trida Ridho Fariz, M.Sc., and Amnan Haris, M.Ling. The activity was further supported by other FMIPA lecturers, including Hendra Febriyanto, M.Pd., Muhammad Aghaniya Naufal, S.Si., M.Si., Putri Alifa Kholil, S.T., M.Ling., Yogiswara Danurrachman, S.T., M.Ling., Devy Lestari, M.Pd., Andin Vita Amalia, S.Si., M.Sc., Ayu Rahayu, S.Pd., M.Pd., Rizki Nor Amelia, S.Pd., M.Pd., Rifa&#8217; Atunnisa, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D., Litasari Aldila Aribowo, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Noer Farida, S.Pd. Students from the Undergraduate Environmental Science Study Program who are members of the ILING Project actively participated from the planning stage through the implementation of the planting activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was also attended by Prof. Rajkishore Nayak from RMIT University, Vietnam, and Prof. Dr. Hadi Susilo Arifin from IPB University, who had served as keynote speakers at The 1st Global Conference on Environmental, Energy, and Natural Resources Innovation for Sustainable Development (GREENOVA) 2026, hosted by FMIPA UNNES the previous day. Also present was Prof. Dr. Nadiroh from Universitas Negeri Jakarta, an invited speaker at GREENOVA 2026 and a representative of the Indonesian Association of Environmental Science Study Programs (PEPSILI). Their participation further strengthened the collaboration among academia, industry, and the community in promoting coastal ecosystem conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the activity was joined by Vania F. Herlambang, Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2018 (Miss Indonesia Environment 2018) and an environmental advocate. During the event, she encouraged all participants to strengthen their commitment to mangrove conservation. According to her, mangrove planting is not merely a ceremonial activity but a long-term investment in environmental sustainability and future generations through the collective efforts of all stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collaboration among FMIPA UNNES, PAMA Group, and the Mangrove Lestari Farmers Group supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), SDG 15 (Life on Land), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening partnerships between universities, industry, and local communities to promote sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this initiative, FMIPA UNNES once again demonstrated its commitment to integrating education, research, and community engagement through tangible environmental conservation efforts.
