The Research Team of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), led by Prof. Dr. Ari Yuniastuti, M.Kes, conducted an academic visit to Chulalongkorn University as part of the Visiting Professor agenda under the collaborative research program between the Master\u2019s Program in Biology of FMIPA UNNES and the Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity, which took place on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, focused on discussing a joint research plan for 2026 entitled \u201cAnalysis of Food Products by Meat Using PCR and LCQTOF-MS\/MS Integrated by Metabolomics-Based Approach for Halal Authentication.\u201d<\/em> The research aims to develop halal authentication methods for food products using molecular technology and a metabolomics-based approach.<\/p>\n\n\n

During the visit, the Biology Research Team of FMIPA UNNES was welcomed by the Director of the Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn, Dr. Pornpimol Mahamad, accompanied by Dr. Najwa Yanya Santiwarakul. Meanwhile, the research collaboration from the Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn side is led by Dr. Nureesun Mahmud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This international research collaboration is one of the implementations of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals<\/em>, which emphasizes the importance of synergy and collaboration among institutions in achieving global development goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this collaborative research program, both institutions hope that the partnership will continue to grow and be followed by other activities related to the tridharma of higher education, including academic exchanges, joint scientific publications, international seminars, and the development of research innovations in the field of halal science.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
