It is further supported by leading institutions including Hokkaido University (Japan), Prince of Songkla University (Thailand), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (Malaysia), Universitas Sebelas Maret (Indonesia), and the Indonesian Association of Environmental Science Educators (PEPSILI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the foreword, the organizing committee emphasized that GREENOVA contributes to the achievement of the <em>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/em>, particularly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SDG 13: Climate Action<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SDG 15: Life on Land<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>GREENOVA 2026 will feature keynote speakers from around the world, including Prof. Nathan G. Swenson (University of Notre Dame, USA), Assoc. Prof. Tatsuhiro Ezawa (Hokkaido University, Japan), Prof. Rajkishore Nayak (RMIT, Vietnam), and Prof. Dr. Hadi Susilo Arifin (IPB University, Indonesia), among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference will cover a wide range of topics such as water, air, and soil pollution control; ecology and environmental dynamics; environmental engineering; renewable energy and low-carbon technologies; energy storage systems and technologies; climate change mitigation and adaptation; water security and agricultural resilience; sustainable land and biodiversity management; soil and water conservation; natural resources management; as well as biotechnology and bioprocess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Important dates for the conference include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Abstract submission deadline: April 20, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notification of acceptance: April 23, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full paper submission deadline: April 30, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full Paper Notification of Acceptance: June 7, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payment deadline: June 20, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conference Date (Hybrid) : June 24, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With strong international collaboration and academic support, GREENOVA is expected to become a key platform for knowledge exchange and innovation, contributing significantly to global sustainability efforts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) will host The 1st Global Conference on Environmental, Energy, and Natural Resources Innovation for Sustainable Development (GREENOVA) in a hybrid format on June 24, 2026.
