A student from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) conducted an independent research project focusing on the analysis of air quality within the campus environment. This research activity also represents a tangible form of UNNES\u2019s commitment to realizing its vision as a Conservation Campus, an educational institution that consistently promotes environmental conservation practices in various academic and non-academic activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The research was carried out by a student from the Environmental Science Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, who specifically focused on examining the air quality conditions in the UNNES Wirausaha area. This area was selected as the research location because it has the characteristics of an open space with diverse human activities, making it representative for analysis from an environmental quality perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The main objective of this research is to provide scientific insight into the comparison of air quality between two types of areas, namely areas with low vegetation density and areas with high vegetation density. Using a scientific approach, the study aims to demonstrate how the presence of vegetation affects air quality, including its role in absorbing pollutants, increasing oxygen levels, and reducing the environmental impact of human activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The results of this research are expected to serve as a reference for the community, academic community, and policymakers to be more cautious and responsible when taking actions that may reduce vegetation in the surrounding environment. In addition, this research is also expected to strengthen collective awareness of the importance of maintaining and increasing green spaces as one of the efforts to mitigate the decline in air quality in campus areas and their surroundings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
