To enhance the quality of learning and support the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang (FMIPA UNNES), the Physics Education Study Program once again organized practitioner lectures in the Physics Learning Evaluation<\/em> course. The course is taught by Dr. Ellianawati, M.Si., who consistently invites practitioners from both domestic and international institutions each year to enrich students\u2019 learning experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International Practitioner from UiTM Malaysia: Quantitative Data Analysis Using SPSS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 28 November 2025, the Physics Education Study Program hosted Mrs. Norezan Ibrahim, B.Sc., M.Sc., Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia, as an international guest lecturer delivering a session on \u201cBasic Quantitative Data Analysis with SPSS.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this session, Mrs. Norezan provided comprehensive insights into the use of SPSS for analyzing students\u2019 test scores, including data processing, basic statistical tests, and interpretation of results. Students also had the opportunity to engage in hands-on practice, strengthening their quantitative analysis skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National Practitioner Session: Evaluation of Physics Learning in a Deep Learning Framework<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6 December 2025, the program welcomed Dr. Imron, M.Pd., an educator and active board member of the Indonesian Teachers Association (Ikatan Guru Indonesia \u2013 IGI), who delivered a lecture on evaluating physics learning within the context of the Deep Learning approach.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his presentation, Dr. Imron emphasized the importance of authentic assessment instruments and evaluation strategies that promote deep conceptual understanding and higher-order thinking skills. His experience in IGI provided valuable perspectives for students on evaluation practices relevant to modern educational needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting FMIPA UNNES Key Performance Indicator (IKU) 3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The direct involvement of practitioners from both national and international institutions reflects strong support for Key Performance Indicator (IKU) 3, namely, practitioners teaching on campus<\/em>. Their presence not only broadens students\u2019 perspectives but also brings practical and up-to-date insights into the learning process within the field of science education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
