This work was a finalist in the 2025 Student Digital Innovation Competition (LIDM) in the category of Educational Digital Learning Innovation (IPDP).

RELONIKA is a mathematics learning medium with a local cultural nuance from the Ambarawa Railway Museum. It consists of an educational web game and worksheets based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This medium is designed to make mathematics learning more interactive, contextual, and relevant to students’ real lives.

Amidst the modernization of education, RELONIKA exemplifies the integration of technology, culture, and education. This approach not only strengthens students’ academic understanding but also fosters a love for the nation’s cultural heritage.

By applying the concept of ethnomathematics, RELONIKA encourages students to reason, analyze, and solve problems through real-life situations at the Ambarawa Railway Museum. This learning encourages the development of HOTS (C4–C6) skills.

Furthermore, the application of deep learning encourages students to be more active and understand the deeper meaning of mathematical concepts, making learning more meaningful and enjoyable.

Overall, RELONIKA demonstrates that mathematics learning can be delivered in an innovative, contextual, and culturally enriched manner. The LOKA team hopes this work will inspire educators to continue developing digital learning media rooted in Indonesian culture and fostering a generation of critical thinkers in the digital age.

The LOKA team, consisting of Ajeng Fatika Sari, Mustika Nur Hasanah, Nurul Hidayati, and Sabrina Aprilia from the UNNES Undergraduate Mathematics Education Study Program, under the guidance of Dr. Nuriana Rachmani Dewi (Nino Adhi), S.Pd., M.Pd., presented the innovative work RELONIKA.
