On Thursday, 12 December 2024, lecturers of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) had the opportunity to become guest lecturers in a special lecture at Miyazaki University, Japan. The invited lecturers were Prof. Dr Zaenuri, M.Si., Akt. (Mathematics Education Study Program) and Arif Widiyatmoko, Ph.D. (Science Education Study Program).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This activity is one of the outcomes of collaborative research between UNNES and University of Miyazaki with collaboration partner Daiki Nakamura, Ph.D, lecturer at Faculty of Education, Miyazaki University, Japan. In the Special Lecture, each lecturer presented topics related to their field. Zaenuri, M.Si., Akt. delivered a presentation on Teachers’ ICT Competency while Arif Widiyatmoko, Ph.D. delivered material on ICT in Science Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants in the activity were students of the Faculty of Education, the University of Miyazaki, Japan. The students were very enthusiastic and critical in attending the guest lecture on the implementation of ICT for science learning in Indonesia and Japan, as evidenced by the many questions asked to guest lecturers from FMIPA UNNES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This activity strengthens cooperation and collaboration in the field of research and community service with Professor Yasuko Togasaki, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Miyazaki University, Japan.
