This activity is a project from the Air Pollution Course. Estimates for trees absorbing CO<sub>2<\/sub> (carbon stock) are calculated using the allometric formula. To determine the ability of vegetation (trees) to absorb CO<sub>2<\/sub>, a census method was carried out by identifying all the trees on the FMIPA campus. The data collection technique was carried out by walking on the FMIPA campus, then recording the name and amount of vegetation encountered. This data collection was assisted by the AvenzaMap application for navigation and GoogleLens to help identify vegetation types. Meanwhile, tree diameter measurements are carried out by measuring the diameter at breast height (DBH).
