On Friday, July 7, 2023, FMIPA (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences) of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) received a visit from FMIPA of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED) in Purwokerto for the purpose of discussing the implementation of the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) program. During the meeting, both parties discussed the opportunity for collaboration in student and faculty exchange, specifically for the organization of a one-semester course totaling 20 credits in both faculties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Present at the meeting were the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni of FMIPA UNSOED, Prof. Amin Fatoni, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., as well as the Heads of the Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics Departments, and laboratory technicians. The Dean of FMIPA UNNES, Prof. Dr. Edy Cahyono, M.Si., warmly welcomed the collaboration plan. Further discussions are needed to finalize the technical details for the implementation of the student and faculty exchange program so that it can be realized in the future. The event was also attended by the Vice Dean, Heads of the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science Departments. During the meeting, an Implementation of Arrangement document was signed between FMIPA UNNES and FMIPA UNSOED.<\/p>\n\n\n

On the same day, FMIPA UNNES also received guests from the research team of the Faculty of Forestry, Gadjah Mada University (UGM). This visit was aimed at initiating the signing of an Implementation of Arrangement document for collaborative research activities through the Basic Research scheme between the Biology Department of FMIPA UNNES and the Faculty of Forestry of UGM.<\/p>\n\n\n
