Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) officially opens seven new study programs in 2023. This is evidenced by the issuance of a letter regarding the Fulfillment of Minimum Accreditation Requirements for the Opening of New Study Programs Number 759\/BAN-PT\/LL\/2023 from the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (Ban-PT). The letter states that based on the Plenary Results of the BAN-PT Executive Council on May 24, 2023, the proposed programs by UNNES have met the minimum accreditation requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seven new study programs along with their quotas are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Master’s in Management (Quota: 20)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Bachelor’s in Islamic Economics and Finance (Quota: 50)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Master’s in Accounting (Quota: 20)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Doctorate in Economic Education<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Master’s in Chemical Engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Master’s in Civil Engineering
    Doctorate in Law.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Prof. Dr. Zaenuri, MSi, Akt., Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs of UNNES, explained that these new programs are opened by UNNES to meet the needs of the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    “Of course, the opening of these programs has undergone careful consideration. We have prepared academic facilities, teaching staff, and other infrastructure well, so they are deemed to meet the accreditation requirements by BAN-PT,” he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    These seven study programs will start admitting new students in 2023. The admissions will be conducted entirely through independent selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
