Semarang, July 2025 \u2014 In an effort to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in higher education, the Center for Education and Professional Development (LPPP) at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) held the PEKERTI (Program Peningkatan Keterampilan Dasar Teknik Instruksional) training from July 7 to July 11, 2025. The program took place onsite at the LPPP UNNES training facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training brought together 40 lecturers from UNNES, providing them with an intensive, face-to-face learning environment. This onsite format encouraged active participation through discussions, practical exercises, and collaborative work focused on instructional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Designed as a foundational program, PEKERTI equips lecturers\u2014particularly those in the early stages of their careers\u2014with essential pedagogical skills. The training emphasizes the ability to design structured learning, apply effective teaching methods, and conduct meaningful evaluations. It also plays a key role in preparing lecturers for the national lecturer certification process (serdos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the five-day program, participants engaged with various materials and learning resources, supported by documentation and modules made available through the official drive links. These resources ensured continuity of learning beyond the training sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this initiative, LPPP UNNES reaffirms its role in fostering academic excellence by strengthening lecturers\u2019 instructional competencies.
