Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menyelenggarakan kegiatan Orientasi dan Pembekalan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) Calon Guru Gelombang 1 Tahun 2026. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Selasa, 27 Januari 2026, bertempat di Kampus PPG UNNES Bendan Ngisor, Semarang, yang terintegrasi dengan Sekolah Pascasarjana (SPS) UNNES.

Kegiatan orientasi diikuti oleh 505 mahasiswa PPG Calon Guru dan menjadi penanda dimulainya rangkaian pendidikan profesi guru tahun 2026. Acara dibuka secara resmi oleh Direktur Sekolah Pascasarjana UNNES, Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman, M.Hum., yang dalam sambutannya menegaskan pentingnya PPL sebagai inti dari proses pembentukan guru profesional.

Fokus utama orientasi diarahkan pada pembekalan PPL yang disampaikan oleh Kepala Pusat Pengembangan PPL UNNES, Dr. Soedjatmiko, M.Pd. Dalam paparannya, ia menegaskan bahwa PPL merupakan mata kuliah inti dalam Program PPG dengan bobot signifikan dan dirancang untuk membentuk kompetensi profesional calon guru melalui praktik langsung di sekolah mitra.

Dr. Soedjatmiko menjelaskan bahwa pelaksanaan PPL PPG Calon Guru dilaksanakan secara terintegrasi dengan sejumlah mata kuliah teori dan berlangsung sepanjang masa studi PPG, baik pada semester satu maupun semester dua. Pada semester satu, mahasiswa menempuh PPL Terbimbing dengan bobot 6 SKS, sedangkan pada semester dua dilanjutkan dengan PPL Mandiri berbobot 8 SKS.
PPL Terbimbing dilaksanakan melalui tahapan orientasi, observasi, asistensi mengajar, praktik pembelajaran terbimbing, serta refleksi akhir. Seluruh tahapan dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman autentik kepada mahasiswa dalam memahami karakteristik peserta didik, lingkungan sekolah, serta praktik pembelajaran yang berpusat pada kebutuhan murid.
Dalam pelaksanaannya, PPL menggunakan pendekatan supervisi klinis dan mengadaptasi lesson study, yang menekankan pentingnya refleksi berkelanjutan. Refleksi dilakukan secara mandiri maupun bersama guru pamong dan dosen pembimbing lapangan sebagai dasar penyusunan rencana tindak lanjut pembelajaran.

Selain praktik pembelajaran, mahasiswa PPG Calon Guru juga diwajibkan menghasilkan luaran akademik berupa Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sebagai kewajiban individual. Setiap kelompok bidang studi juga ditargetkan menghasilkan minimal satu artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal bereputasi, minimal SINTA 3, serta menghasilkan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI) berbasis inovasi pembelajaran di sekolah mitra.
Melalui kegiatan orientasi dan pembekalan PPL ini, UNNES menegaskan komitmennya dalam menyiapkan calon guru profesional yang kompeten, reflektif, dan berintegritas, serta siap berkontribusi dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan nasional.
