Semarang, September 19, 2025 — The Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance (LPPP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) successfully conducted the Basic Instructional Skills Development Training (PEKERTI) MOC Batch 31 from September 15 to 19, 2025.
The program involved 19 lecturer participants and was delivered fully online through a structured Massive Open Course (MOC) format. The training combined synchronous sessions and independent learning activities, allowing participants to engage actively despite the virtual setting.
Designed to support early-career lecturers, the PEKERTI program focuses on strengthening pedagogical competencies, particularly in developing course design, organizing effective learning experiences, and implementing appropriate assessment methods. As a nationally recognized program, PEKERTI plays an important role in preparing lecturers for professional certification and improving overall teaching quality.
During the five-day training, participants were guided through a series of structured learning activities, including theoretical sessions, assignments, and practical exercises. The MOC-based approach encouraged participants to learn independently while also participating in live discussions and collaborative sessions.
One of the key highlights of the program was the emphasis on reflective practice, where participants analyzed their own teaching methods and received feedback through guided activities. This approach enabled participants to develop more adaptive, student-centered, and outcome-based teaching strategies.
Through this training, LPPP UNNES continues its commitment to supporting the professional development of lecturers across institutions. Participants are expected to apply the competencies gained to improve the quality of instruction and contribute to more effective higher education learning environments.
