The 61st Dies Natalis celebration of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) officially began on February 12, 2026, with an opening ceremony, parade, and a fun walk joined by the entire academic community. The celebration was further enlivened by a carnival and bazaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the opening series, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of UNNES participated by presenting a bazaar stand themed around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This activity supports this year\u2019s main theme, \u201cUNNES Bergerak Berdampak\u201d (UNNES Moves, Makes an Impact).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the event, the LPPM stand showcased a variety of featured products from assisted small and medium enterprises (SMEs). These products are the result of research and community service programs conducted by UNNES. They demonstrate how research can directly contribute to empowering local communities, especially by strengthening economic potential through innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, the LPPM stand also served as an information and educational space for visitors. It introduced various programs, research groups, and collaboration opportunities open to both the academic community and external partners interested in developing sustainable innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This participation highlights LPPM\u2019s active role in supporting UNNES\u2019s vision to keep moving forward and create real impact for society. In line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this initiative also contributes to promoting decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), quality education (SDG 4), and global partnerships (SDG 17), as part of UNNES\u2019s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development.(R)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
